Georgian Wine, Aged in Clay

Georgian Wine, Aged in Clay

Our wine list features qvevri-aged amber wines from Georgia — a tradition eight millennia old. Ask Edo at the bar. He'll point you to the right glass.

A Table at the Crossroads of the Caucasus

Georgia—the country, not the state—is recognized as the birthplace of wine and one of the world's oldest culinary traditions, with over 8,000 years of history. At Ubani, we bring that heritage to New York City, one hand-pleated dumpling, freshly baked khachapuri, and shared feast at a time.

What our guests are saying

The set menu is a must try. The Georgian food taste is unique and delicious. Little known fact that Georgia is the oldest wine making country. So trying the wine is also recommended. And make sure you try the honey cake, an amazing unique taste.

My family and I absolutely loved our time here. The food was great, the ambiance was perfect, lots of delicious food to choose from. The service was excellent. We had Nutsa as our waitress and she was absolutely lovely. Attentive and professional while also being kind, warm and welcoming! We will definitely be coming back here :) The wine list is extensive and varied, tried a terragon lemondade unique taste.
